Macon-Lugny Chardonnay 07 16 July 2010

The final wine in our French week, this is from the Macon sub region of Burgundy. The nose is butterscotch, jersey caramels, popcorn and nuts. The palate is opulent and full with characters of straw and raisins with great structure and minerality and a long finish.
