If you'rve dropped into shop recently you'll know that we're very much looking forward to our latest import to arrive. Our shipment is due to arrive in New Zealand on Monday 20 November, followed by customs clearance and transport to our warehouse so we expect the wines to be with us very shortly. We'll arrange prompt delivery of all pre-orders and then load up the remainder on the website as available once they arrive.

Wineseeker Imports - Update August 2017

Last Chance - Pre-Order closing. We are delighted to introduce our upcoming wine import from Europe. Wineseeker is extending our range of imported wines to Northern Spain, with an exciting new range of wines from famous regions Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Toro, Rias Baixas, Rueda and more. In addition we're adding two new producers from the southern French region of Provence.

Because we import directly from the producers, we cut out the middle men - no wholesalers or distributors - that means better wines for lower prices for you. The links below will detail each of the individual wines, and the special pre-order pricing on offer.  Pre-Orders close on August 17, 2017 with an expected arrival date of 31 October 2017 so send us back your order to wine@wineseeker.co.nz, contact us by phone, or just drop into our shop at 86 Victoria Street Wellington.

Wineseeker Imports - Update January 2017

After extensive tasting we have selected a collection of wines to be imported direct from France.  These include wines from the Alsace, Loire Valley, Bordeaux, Champagne, Burgundy, Northern Rhone, Southern Rhone, and Languedoc regions.  All exclusive to Wineseeker.

These wines offer superior value as we are importing direct from cellar doors across France, cutting out the usual “middlemen” with distribution and importation costs.  Combine that with a strong dollar against the Euro.

Champagne

Veuve Doussot

Family winegrowers in the town of Noé-Les-Mallets in Champagne since 1746, but forming the Veuve Doussot group in 1970.

Dopff & Irion

Burgundy

Olivier Leflaive Olivier Leflaive is based at Puligny-Montrachet in the heart of the ‘Côte de Beaune’ of Burgundy, home to some of the greatest Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in the world.  His wines are made with traditional first class Burgundian methods resulting in wines of finesse, elegance and complexity.

Southern Rhone

Domaine La Garrigue A small family estate established in 1850 and the work of six generations of the Bernard family.  Based in the heart of the Vacqueyras appellation – Southern Cote du Rhone.

Southern Rhone - Beaumes-de-Venise

Domaine de Durban Domaine de Durban was first founded in 1159, on a hillside plateau protected from the harsh Mistral winds, perched above the town of Beaumes-de-Venise.  Best known for the iconic dessert wines made from old Muscat-a-petit grains vines.   Lesser known are their impressive full flavoured reds..

Languedoc

Chateau d'Agel Chateau d’Agel is based in the Minervois wine region of Languedoc, Southern France and a short drive from Carcassonne. Dates back to early-Roman times, hot dry summer days with old vines planted in thin stony soils.  Rustic Carignan with juicy Grenache and sturdy spicy Syrah – but with more finesse than the nearby Corbieres wines.
