Casillero del Diablo Cabernet Sauvignon
100% Cabernet Sauvignon born in the Central Valley Chile on riverbench, benchland, and hillside soil. Aged in small oak barrels for 9 months. The 2011 vintage received Bronze Medal at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in November 2012
Possibly the best value Cabernet we have seen in recent times, Casillero del Diablo roughly translates to 'the devil in the cellar.' A rich and classic Cabernet nose, with supple flavours of red and black currants mixed with sour plum and a touch of tobacco. Great quaffing wine, Kiwi Cabernet simply can't be made at this level of quality at this price point.
