Made from the best individual plots in the Crozes-Hermitage region, named for the Greek god of Wind that produces the loess soils. Fermented in French oak, traditional lees stirring, barrel aged for 10 months. Rich golden colour, expressive nose of vanilla, spice & cream. Fat palate with concentrated peach, pear and toast.

Cave de Tain is a Co-Operative producer based in the town of Tain L’Hermitage – the wine centre of the Northern Rhone Region, and based at the foot of the infamous ‘Hermitage’ hill. Cave de Tain is the largest producer of AOC quality Syrah in Europe, formed in 1933 to combine the strengths of dozens of individual growers in the region.
