Chateau Trillol Corbieres AOC
Chateau Trillol is in the 'Hautes Corbieres', a hillside region with vineyards up to 500m above sea level, contributing to thicker skins and slower ripening of the grapes, giving fuller body and more character to the wines. Chateau Trillol is a classic southern blend of Grenache, Carignan and Syrah. Since 1990, Sichel, a prestigious Bordeaux producer have invested in the property, making quality wines on a site they believe has great potential. To make the wine, the grapes are destemmed before a long fermentation, with daily pigage to extract colour and tannins, and then aged 12 months in French Oak.
