Septima Malbec Mendoza Argentina

Country / Region: South America
Vineyard: Bodega Septima
Varietal: Malbec
Vintage: 2016

Big, bold and fruit-driven Malbec from Mendoza that is both powerful and smooth. Argentina are now champions at Malbec with finesse!

Making stellar wine is the sole focus at Bodega Septima, a pristine winery situated in the acclaimed Mendoza winemaking district of Argentina.

Founded in 1999, the winery was the seventh (in Spanish “septima”) winery introduced by the Codorníu Group, known for its world-famous cava and still wines from Spain and Napa Valley. Imported exclusively by Aveníu Brands, Septima produces authentic wines that are modern, with a nod to tradition.

Harvested by hand in the cool morning hours, fermented in temperature controlled steel tanks before aging six months in American oak barrels.

Tasting Note
Purple-crimson in colour, aromas of raspberry and cherry conserves and a subtle hint of vanilla.  Bold baked cherries on the palate, with a twist of rosemary, watermelon and just a hint of smoke.
