Tamari Cabernet Sauvignon

Country / Region: South America
Vineyard: San Pedro
Varietal: Cabernet Sauvignon
Vintage: 2015

Smooth and fruity Cabernet from Mendoza in Argentina.

Mendoza in Argentina is famous firstly for Malbec, but also for Cabernet Sauvignon. Grown at high altitudes above 1,000m above sea level in the rain shadow of the Andes, enjoying hot days and cool nights.

The Tamari Cabernet is an easy drinking fruit driven style not a bold and tannic version. Aromas of boysenberry, tamarillo and milk chocolate with hints of violets and jasmine. Medium bodied on the palate, very fruity with plenty of berries mingling with cloves and spice, oak aging giving some complexity and an easy finish.
