Chateau Sarenceau St Emilion Cuvee La Fortine
90% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon Family-run for the past 4 generations. Vinified traditionally from sandy clay with limestone subsoil.
Brilliant ruby colour, aromas of jammy red berries with oaky vanilla and floral notes. Lush fruit on the palate with liquorice accented finish.
This small estate is managed with meticulous care and determination by Ludovic Delage, who continues the passion of a family now in its fourth generation. He puts all his know-how and love of the soil into his work. Situated on the prestigious plateau of Saint Emilion and surrounded by the most prestigious growths of that appellation.
Saint Emilion is on the right bank of Bordeaux, is incredibly beautiful and now the town is a UNESCO world heritage site. This has changed the face of Saint Emilion in recent times as almost no locals live there anymore. It is filled with quaint hotels, antique shops, wine shops, and loads of AirBnB accommodation.
