Brise Marine Provence Rose - Wineseeker

Brise Marine Provence Rose

Pale pink, with light and fresh fruit aromas, red cherry flavours and a savoury finish.  Great value and an introduction to the Provence style of Rosé.

Estandon Vignerons is a co-operative combining the efforts of several smaller family vineyards in the Provence region, both from the ‘Cotes de Provence’ and the ‘Coteaux Varois en Provence’ appellations.  Provence rose is made from a blend of grapes that thrive in the hot dry summers in the stony limestone-clay soils around the Mediterranean coasts and hillsides - primarily Grenache and Cinsault, often blended with other heat tolerant red grape varieties.

The Brise Marine is an IGP, what used to be called 'Vin de Pays de Méditerranée'.  Made from a blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Carignan and Syrah - machine picked at night to preserve freshness, fermented in thermo-regulated stainless-steel vats.
