Cave de Tain Syrah - Transit Damaged

Somewhere between Southern France and Wellington a shipment of French Syrah has been damaged in transit. In most cases the corks are protruding from the end of the bottle, some missing caps, others just a slight bulge at the end. This is often a sign of heat during transport, and while the wines taste just fine they all have to go below cost! Note some bottles also have some label damage

This is 100% French Syrah from the Northern Rhone, and one of our house favourites for easy drinking and value reds. It's unoaked, fruity but savoury yet smooth. While the bottles might be damaged the contents is still very drinkable. Buy one, buy a dozen or more... or drop into shop to taste it first.
