Badenhorst Secateurs Chenin Blanc

Most of Chenin vines were planted in the 1960's, yield is around 4 tonnes per hectare.

Blend of Chenin Blanc and just a sprinkle of Palomino.

The grapes are hand picked, chilled overnight in a cold room. Whole bunch press.

The wine was left on its gross lees for 7 months before being bottled with occasional lees stirring during this time.

Around 10% is fermented in French barrels.
