96 Points Luca Maroni: Ca de Rocchi Ripasso is an exercise in extraction. The wine is absolutely black. Aromas are concentrated and intense and the wine is equally enormous in the mouth thanks to the extraction, oak, fruit and the hot climatic conditions associated with this vintage.

90 Points Wine Spectator: This supple red is structured by firm, fine-grained tannins, with a tarry undertow supporting black currant, gumdrop, briar and star anise notes. Accessible now, but with the stuffing for short-term cellaring. Drink now through 2024. 7,000 cases made.

The story of Cantine Tinazzi began with the commitment and passion of Eugenio Tinazzi who founded the company in the late 1960’s in Cavaion Veronese, against the stunning backdrop of the hinterland of Lake Garda. Initially, it was a very small business, making and selling local Verona wines within the province. Over the years, sales rose and expanded to Lombardy and later throughout Northern Italy. Riding the wave of the company’s success, in the late 1970’s it moved to a larger site in Cavaion Veronese, which would be home to production, bottling and the administrative offices for the next 20 years.
