Chateau d'Agel 'Les Bonnes' Minervois Blanc
Pale yellow in colour, aromas of fresh spring daffodils and buttercups with yellow plum and tart apricots. Dry on the palate, with a slightly oily texture with flavours of fresh nectarine, dried honey, subtle twist of savoury green herbs and a fresh mineral finish.
A blend of classic Southern French grape varieties planted in 1956- Macabeo (the same grape used for white wines in Rioja), blended with Roussane, Grenache blanc and Vermentino.
Chateau d’Agel is based in the Minervois wine region of Languedoc, Southern France and a short drive from Carcassonne. Dates back to early-Roman times, hot dry summer days with old vines planted in thin stony soils.
