Pure Central Otago, the Desert Heart Mackenzie's Run Pinot Noir displays attractive, aromas of rich dark fruit, cherries and plums, fruits of the forest with hints of spicy dried herbs and liquorices undertones. A complex wine, layered and concentrated on the palate, supported by muscular tannins and acidity, with good balance and fruit continuity. A wine that has excellent structure and concentration that is rich and dense whilst showing great elegance and persistence on the finish.
