Wine Mag 91/100
La Cantarelle is this producer's homage to century-old Grenache vines (accented by just 10% of Syrah). Bold and voluminous, it's a rich, creamy sip that's plump with black-cherry and plum flavors. The finish is long, marked by a swirl of caramel and soft, feathery tannins. Best enjoyed now–2024.
Vacqueyras enjoys a Mediterranean climate with lots of sunshine, low rainfall and the famous 'Mistral' wind that helps to keep the vines free of disease. We have chosen to import the top wine of the estate, made from the oldest vines and thus the most intense and powerfully flavoured wines.
