"The Bendigo subregion of Central Otago has a diverse array of vineyards nestled in the foothills of the Dunstan Range. Glacially-carved land has created spectacular slopes from which our best single vineyard wines are drawn. The Red Shed Vineyard is located in Bendigo's lower slopes (230m) and is gravelly, hot and dry.

Handpicked fruit, whole bunch pressed. Full solid fermentation in neutral French barriques. Indigenous yeast, indigenous MLF (90%). Ten months on full lees, bone dry. A mineral, crisp style with great complexity."

"The 2016 vintage was estate-grown and hand-picked at Bendigo, fermented with indigenous yeasts in old French barriques, and lees-aged in oak for 10 months; 90 per cent of the blend also had a softening malolactic fermentation. Pale lemon/green, it is fleshy and creamy, with very youthful, citrusy, slightly appley flavours, showing good complexity, fresh acidity and obvious potential; best drinking 2019+."

"Ultra fragrant, zesty, citrus driven perfume with green apple, banana skins, green melon jostling around. Palate is zingy, a touch loose knit but bolstered by cheek puckering acidity. Good vibrancy here, though does feel touch dilute overall."
