La Celia Supremo
A blend of Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Tannat grown in Uco Valley Argentina.
Deep purple in colour. Intense aromas of blueberry, mulberry, cassis, and black currant. The palate is full bodied and has pronounced oak, olive tapenade, bay leaf, and black fruit. Polished but persistent tannins. Long bittersweet finish. Pair with heavy meat dishes.
Every Pioneer leaves a unique legacy and Eugenio Bustos was one of them. He arrived in the Uco Valley and planted the first Malbec wine from France which he received as payment for his best horses. Named in honour of his daughter, that is how Finca La Celia was born in 1890.
