Ohau Woven Stone Sauvignon Blanc
New vintage of an old favourite- local "Wellington" Sauvignon Blanc
Ohau Gravels is the closest we get to a 'Wellington Vineyard' based between Otaki and Levin. Known for their easy drinking Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris.
Named for the signature gravel stone remnants in the vineyard, forged over time by the force of the Ohau River, with similar alluvial river soils to Marlborough. Aromas of fresh lemon, green apple and a fair dash of feijoa. Zesty without being overwhelmingly acidic, lime sherbet grapefruit and passionfruit on the palate. Try with roasted summer veges.
