Pala I Fiori Cannonau
Cannonau is another name for the grape variety that we usually call Grenache, or Garnacha. In Sardenia, they practice one of the oldest vine training methods: the Alberello method (translate to “little tree”-see picture). Each vine is staked and pruned to grow by itself.
To have a pure and elegant expression of Cannonau, the grapes went through a soft pressing, controlled temperature fermentation with selected yeast, and maturation in stainless steel and cement tanks.
Tasting Note:
The nose is complex, with notes of cherries and cranberries, violets and dried herbs. Precise palate with a bright acidity balanced with soft tannins, showing fresh cherries and savory finish.
