Te Mānia Pinot Gris

Dry, mineral and fruity Pinot Gris from sunny Nelson.

Honeysuckle and apple notes on the nose with citrus and pear on the palate with white flowers and a smooth dry and textural finish.

About Te Mānia

Te Mānia is a family-owned Nelson winery, established in 1990 near the beautiful beaches and coast of Tasman Bay.

The vineyards are planted on the ancient alluvial terraces. These stony soils, combined with Nelson’s cool maritime climate and high sunshine hours, produce grapes and wines of the finest quality.  They have moved their vineyards to organic production.

Te Mānia is the Maori name for “The Plains” and is pronounced “Tay Ma-ni-a”. The free spirit of Nelson’s idyllic lifestyle and climate is captured by the Harrier Hawk gliding on the breeze above our vineyards.
