Terrace Edge Liquid Geography Riesling

The complex aroma shows nectarine, mandarin and lemon/lime zest characters with subtle spicy nuances. The palate delivers excellent power and concentration, with ripe citrus and tropical fruit along with honey and musky botrytis. The warm days and cool nights provide ripe, rich fruit while also retaining fresh citrus characters. Cool fermentation of optimally ripened grapes fills this wine with beautiful aromas of honey and lime while the palate is refreshing and crisp.

Raymond Chan 18.5/20

Bright, light golden-yellow colour with some depth, lighter on the rim. The nose is gently full with well-concentrated and deeply layered aromas of ripe citrus and tropical fruits, along with honey and marmalade, musky botrytis, unfolding savoury yellow stonefruits. Medium sweet to taste and medium-full bodied, the palate has rich and lusciously opulent, exotic, ripe citrus and tropical fruits entwined with honey, marmalade and musk. The mouthfeel is smooth and unctuous, and the flavours form a rounded heart. The wine is lively and vigorous with good underlying power and a fine thread of acidity lending cut and balance. The flavours carry to a long, lingering finish of savoury honey and musk. This is a rich and opulent, medium-sweet Riesling with ripe citrus and tropical fruit along with honey and musky botrytis, and good power. Serve as an aperitif, moderately spicy foods, Middle Eastern fare and fruit desserts over the next 4+ years. Fruit with approx. 30% botrytis infection, fermented to 13.5% alc. and 45 g/L RS, with TA 10.1 g/L. Certified BioGro organic. 18.5/20 Feb 2018
