The blend of Nero D'Avola and Nerello Mascalese from the region of Siciliy in the deep south of Italy, gives a deeply coloured red, with big dark berries on the nose, complimented with spice and floral top notes, richly intense, yet eminently drinkable.

Vineyard notes

Vigneti Zabu are a new addition to the Farnese wine group; based in Sambuca di Sicilia, an area steeped in winemaking tradition. The Farnese group he founded in the early 90’s, originally aimed to focus on Abruzzo wines, however their early success prompted them to expand south, and eventually into Sicily. Farming their Sicilian vineyards organically for the Vanita range, these wines speak of tradition, yet have real appeal for the modern consumer.
