Warres Kings Tawny Port

Warre's, founded in 1670, was the first British Port company established in Portugal and therefore the pioneer of a great tradition; its history is synonymous with that of Port itself.

Warre’s Kings Tawny is a three-year-old blend, which is less intensely coloured than the ruby. Lighter in style than Ruby, through selective and skilful blending it brings together the youthful fruit aromas of young wines and the fine balance and mellowness achieved through maturation in oak casks.

88 pts Wine Spectator - Medium red. Smoky, high-toned aromas of cassis, marzipan and maple syrup. Smooth, fat and super ripe, with a generous texture and ample balancing acidity. Fresh ruby port but not at all aggressive.

Serving temperature at 15ºC to 16 ºC

Food Pairing:
Enjoy it chilled with dried fruits or with creamy desserts.
