Bottled: 19th January 2017.
Analysis: Alc 13% vol.
Closure: BVS.
Production: 90 cases.
Cellaring Potential: 4-6 years.

Rating: 4 stars
The tautly structured, 'preservative free' 2015 vintage (4.5*) was handled without sulphur dioxide. Certified organic, it's a single-vineyard wine, matured for 16 months in French oak barrels (35 per cent new). Deeply coloured, with a fragrant, peppery, earthy bouquet, it is notably concentrated, with dense plum and black-pepper flavours, firm, chewy tannins, and loads of personality. It looks age-worthy and needs time to soften; open 2019+.
